As I grow a day, my mind begins to wander,
Walking down an aisle of memories,
Jubilance' Grief, Anger,
I wander, I wander, I wander.
Up a bank by a stream, that rushed into a pond,
In the midst of a garden, besotted by beauty, I tread,
The fish with their wiggly fins and tadpole taddy tails,
And a the lil old froggie called fred.
A fat gal who playfully crushes me under,
To all those times I blunder,
All those lightning flashes and frightening thunder,
Paper boats sailing away as I stare in wonder.
Aromas, they waft now and again,
Reminding me of a time here, a time there,
A chocolate cake, a naggy cold, a skidding tire,
Noodly noodles, creamy wafers, strawberry ice cream, wood on fire.
Colors that tug at my mind,
Reminiscing the life that once was...
Blue skies, green apples, pink cotton candy,
Orange oranges, purple flowers, brown biscuit brandy...
