Wish

If I made a wish,
Would you turn into a fish.
And swim into the blue,
Where a shark might eat you?

Would you turn into a star,
Million light years afar.
And your light may never reach me,
Into and beyond eternity.

Would you turn into a fowl,
Scratching at dirt all day.
Find a worm to play,
Leave me alone to stay.

Would you turn into a pond,
With shallow water.
And one day you may dry,
As it gets hotter.

Would you turn into a frog,
And snap at a fly,
Very sly,
Oh, that you already are.

Would you turn into a spider,
And spin a web,
Around yourself,
To get trapped in it forever.

Would you turn into a cold,
So I could sneeze you off.
Or cough you out.
Nagging as you already are.

Would you turn into a fly
And sit on a wall.
From where you may not fall or leave.
Cause its made of fly paper.

Would you turn into a nightmare,
That lasts for a night.
That, I could bear.
A night doesn't last till dawn.
